Danica Patrick Signs With New Sponsor Nature’s Bakery

After boasting a clean and healthy lifestyle, Danica Patrick scored a new sponsor which will allow her to stay with Stewart-Haas Racing. SHR recently announced the Nature’s Bakery has become the primary sponsor of Patrick’s number 10 Chevrolet next season. They will be replacing the longtime sponsor GoDaddy, and will be placing their tagline, “Energy for Life’s Great Journeys” for 28 of 38 Sprint Cup Events.

Both Patrick and Nature’s Bakery are both happy with the deal, as they Patrick puts it, “Our Brands align so perfectly, it’s amazing.”

GoDaddy has been backing Patrick since the 2010 IndyCar season when she was still with Andretti Anutosports, and eventually into NASCAR.  And when they said that their third Sprint Cup season with Patrick would be their last as a sponsor, Patrick had to scramble to find new funding or she would have to leave SHR.

When asked how she felt about not having to leave SHR, she said, “I was really fortunate that I didn’t have to, this is where I wanted to be. I really feel like family here, and this is where I want to be, and I really am fortunate that I didn’t have to look anywhere else.”

Nature’s Bakery was founded in 2010 by father and son Dave and Sam Marson. Because of the new partnership, Patrick will now have to get rid of her trademark neon green paint from her number 10 and go with a blue and white combination. As a result of the deal, the company will become the smallest primary sponsor in NASCAR, as they have fewer than 500 employees in the US. Mason says that their products are in all 50 states and 22 countries, and this deal is merely a fraction of the companies impending and growing globalization.

And that synergizes well with Patrick, who has 105 starts with six career top-10 finishes, a pole for the Daytona 500, and is currently a career best 21st in standings.
