Dana White Speaks At Donald Trump Rally In Colorado, Says He Doesn’t Care If It Hurts UFC

It’s no secret UFC President Dana White is a huge supporter of Donald Trump and he previously expressed that In 2016 when he spoke on his behalf at the Republican National Convention. Now, four years later White took things up a notch as he spoke in Colorado Springs, Colorado during a Trump rally at the Broadmoor World Arena on February 20.

During White’s speech, he stayed away from political views and instead focused on what he thinks of Trump as a friend and president.

“What’s up, Colorado. How are you today?” White said. “So, I’m not a very political person. I’ll start there. But let me say this: There’s things that I could tell you about the President of the United States that you don’t hear on TV and you don’t hear from other people. I’ve known this man for 20 years. We’ve actually become even closer since he’s become the President of the United States. When somebody becomes the President of the United States, you don’t expect to hear from them again, OK? And I understand it. It absolutely makes sense. This guy is so loyal and such a good friend. When I saw him today, when I met him on Air Force One, the first thing he said to me is, ‘How is your family.’

“Good man, very loyal and a very good friend. I see a lot of things from Mr. Trump that the public doesn’t see, and the people who surround me every day see how this man treats me as a friend and other people he’s friends with. He’s a fighter, he loves this country, he’s doing great things for this country, and we gotta win this election again, ladies and gentlemen. Thank you.”

TMZ Sports caught up with White on Thursday and  was asked whether or not his friendship with Trump will bother any UFC fans. White replied, “I could give a s***. I don’t give a s***. If you don’t like me because I’m friends with this guy, that’s your problem, not mine.”

White later added details of his trip to Colorado and why he decided to go. “I wasn’t really campaigning, he called me and asked me if I wanted to go to Colorado,” White said. “He said, ‘Wanna go to Colorado?’ So, I said, ‘Yeah.’ So, we flew over to Colorado for the day and then back to Vegas.”

“We were just hanging out and talking fights,” White continued.  “I can’t say it enough. This guy, when I say this guy I’m talking about President Trump … is such a good friend and such a loyal amazing guy. He’s a great guy, been a friend of mine for a long time.”

Trump previously attended UFC 244 in Madison Square Garden in November.
