Cincinnati Reds’ Trevor Bauer Hosts Giveaway After ESPN Accidentally Broadcasts His Phone Number

On Sunday, Cincinnati Reds pitcher Trevor Bauer set up a giveaway after ESPN accidentally leaked his phone number during a broadcast of the Korean Baseball Organization.

While Bauer was live on FaceTime with ESPN for an interview, his number was visible at the top of the screen for just a couple of seconds, but that was all that fans and spectators needed.

Fortunately for ESPN, the pitcher decided to have some fun in light of the sticky situation. Bauer posted a screenshot of the interview to Twitter and said he would be giving away a pair of signed cleats and baseball over the next 48 hours. “The rules are in my voicemail!” the pitcher said.

After a few hours, Bauer posted an update, saying that his voicemail was full from fans attempting to win the two-day giveaway prizes. He then decided to take FaceTime requests from fans and allowed them to ask one question each.
