Chris Paul has reportedly signed a four-year extension that will keep him with the Phoenix Suns. The deal is worth up to $120 million. His agents Steve Heumann and Ty Sullivan confirmed the deal when speaking with ESPN. Paul is expected to be ready for the Suns’ training camp after having surgery on his left wrist.
Paul’s deal comes alongside signings of guard Cameron Payne and big man JaVale McGee. Payne will be with the Suns for three years, and McGee for one.
Earlier, Paul declined his $44 million player option for next season.
Paul averaged 16.4 points per game alongside 49.9% shooting, 8.9 assists and 1.4 steals per game.
