Boston Celtics swingman Jaylen Brown hit the floor hard after a jump in Thursday night’s game against the Timberwolves in Minnesota.
Brown leaped for a dunk late in the third quarter and hung on to the rim for a second too long, which caused him to land on his neck and head. Though a stretcher was brought out for precaution, he ultimately walked off on his own.
The 21-year-old did not return and was evaluated for concussion-like symptoms. The Celtics won 117-109, although they were still concerned over Brown’s status by the end of the night.
