Following a shocking loss to the New York Knicks, the Milwaukee Bucks were able to bounce back in a rout of the Miami Heat.
On Wednesday night, the Bucks met the Heat in an Eastern Conference Finals rematch. This time it was Milwaukee who came out on top with a 144-97 blowout win. Not only did they record a huge margin of victory, but they were able to set a new NBA record for most three-pointers made by a team with 29. Additionally, the Bucks were able to set another record for most players with a made-three with 12.
Milwaukee torched Miami throughout the game as they were hitting three-pointers with ease. The Bucks shot an impressive 56.9% from beyond the arc. All-Star Khris Middleton finished the game with a team-high 25 points. Not far from him was Jrue Holiday, who finished with 24 points and led the team three-pointers with six.
The only player who struggled to make a three was Defensive Player of The Year Giannis Antetokounmpo who was off all night. The reigning MVP finished the game with just nine points, six assists and six rebounds. Antetokounmpo shot 33.3% from the field as he only made three field goals off nine attempts. Despite his struggles, the team was able to get an easy win with their remarkable three-point shooting.
