Brittany Force Wins Gets First Career NHRA Top Fuel Win At Gatornationals

A first-time winner was guaranteed to come out of the Top Fuel final after Terry McMillen had also made it through the Semis. Nevertheless, it became Force who took home the trophy at the end of the day, thus becoming the second consecutive female Top Fuel winner following Leah Pritchett’s win in Phoenix.

Robert Hight got his first win of the season in Funny Car, while in Pro Stock, Greg Anderson beat Jason Line in the final with a holeshot win after a 0.009 reaction time. This was Anderson’s second victory of the season.

In Pro Stock Motorcycle, Eddie Krawiec won the class’s season-opener with his 32nd career victory.
