Bill Belichick Refutes Claims Of Patriots Looking Past Miami After 27-20 Loss To Dolphins

The Miami Dolphins defeated the New England Patriots 27-20 at home on Monday night, and dominated for most of the game.

Dolphins vs. Patriots Game Score

The Patriots offense was beyond lackluster, as it went 0-for-11 on third down, and Tom Brady threw two interceptions, both to cornerback Xavien Howard.

When asked if he believed his team overlooked the Dolphins, coach Bill Belichick was dismissive.

“No. Give me a break,” he said. “Any questions about the game or not?”

Jay Cutler played perhaps his best game since joining the Dolphins this season. The 34-year-old threw for 263 yards, three touchdowns and zero interceptions. Two of his touchdown passes went to Jarvis Landry, the other to Jakeem Grant.

For the second consecutive week, Drake rushed for over 100 yards on the night. Last week, Drake ran for 120 yards and a touchdown against the Denver Broncos. Against the Patriots this week, Drake recorded 114 yards on 25 carries.

The Patriots (10-3) still lead the AFC East, however. They next visit Pittsburgh on Sunday, when the Dolphins (6-7, 3rd in AFC East) play at Buffalo.
