Tre Mason was arrested last month in Florida on charges of resisting arrest, possession of marijuana, reckless driving and failure to register a motor vehicle.
Although he was supposed to appear in a Broward County court in Florida on Monday, Mason was a no-show.
Because of this, the court was left no other choice but to issue an arrest warrant for the Los Angeles Rams running back, TMZ Sports reported. The judge has also set a bond amount of $1,500 for Mason once he is taken into custody.
Police in Florida stated that they had to use a taser in order to subdue Mason and take him into custody during his original arrest in Hollywood, Florida on March 5.

Mason, 22, was drafted by the then-St. Louis Rams in the third round of the 2014 NFL Draft out of Auburn. Over the course of his two-year career in the NFL, he has compiled 1,208 total yards (972 rushing, 236 receiving) and six touchdowns (five rushing, one receiving).
He was also the SEC Champion, the SEC Championship MVP, and the SEC Offensive Player of the Year in 2013.
However, the Rams have seemed to fare better after selecting running back Todd Gurley out of the University of Georgia in the first round of the 2015 Draft.
The arresting officer wrote that Mason refused to identify himself or produce a driver’s license and that he smelled marijuana coming from Mason’s Porsche. After the officer told Mason he was under arrest, Mason began “bracing himself” and showing “great resistance” when officers tried to remove him from the vehicle.
Mason was then taken into custody and to a local hospital for medical clearance.
Rams coach Jeff Fisher said at last month’s owners meetings that he believed Mason would report to Los Angeles for the start of the offseason training program on April 18, but that the team was still gathering information on the incident.
“I can’t really comment on the specifics until we get all the stuff, and we’re working with the league on that,” Fisher said. “I’m expecting Tre to be present for the offseason program. I know he was extremely embarrassed as to the incident, but we don’t have the facts yet. We’re still waiting on that. To me, it was a little uncharacteristic of him. And if in fact what was reported is true, then [we’d] be really disappointed in him. But we don’t have the information.”
