Adrian Peterson To Be Reinstated By NFL

Adrian Peterson will be reinstated tomorrow April 17, according to an NFL press release. With his reinstatement, he is able to participate in all team drills and activities.

On top of this, Peterson has agreed to fulfill all requirements laid out by Commissioner Goodell and the NFL. “In a letter from Commissioner Roger Goodell, Peterson was informed that he is expected to fulfill his remaining obligations to the authorities in Minnesota and Texas, as well as the additional commitments Peterson made during his April 7 meeting with the commissioner regarding maintaining an ongoing program of counseling and treatment as recommended by medical advisors,” the press release stated.

The never-ending saga with the Vikings QB started when the superstar whipped his child with a switch, a small tree branch.

After pleading no contest, the NFL suspended the RB until a April 15 hearing, in which it would be determined if he was fit to rejoin. However, Peterson sued the league and won his case, meaning he could have been reinstated earlier than the initial possible date.
