On Sunday, Coastal Carolina announced that quarterback Grayson McCall has been released from the hospital following a scary hit he faced during Saturday’s game against Arkansas State. McCall was injured in the fourth quarter during their 27-17 win when he was sliding and collided with defensive back Trevian Thomas in the head. He was later carted off and gave a sign while leaving. He was alert and conscious with movement in all extremities," the statement read. “Grayson has been released and is heading back to Conway.
