In a statement Friday, the Vikings said: "We are aware of last night's traffic incident involving Jordan Addison and are gathering additional information." The report from Minnesota State Patrol didn't mention Addison being under the influence while driving. According to the police report, a patrol officer was traveling eastbound on Interstate 94 just after 3 a.m. when they "observed a driver in a Lamborghini Urus traveling 140 miles per hour in a 55-mile per-hour zone." Although the NFL has not finished its investigation on the incident, it will likely not end up in anything close to suspension, like former Las Vegas Raiders receiver Henry Ruggs. The case is more like Marquise "Hollywood" Brown's back in August 2022. The Arizona Cardinals pass catcher was arrested and charged with criminal speeding but didn't lead to suspension, as he was traveling at 126 m.p.h. in a 65 mph zone. Minnesota, under rookie head coach Kevin O'Connell, won 13 games in his first year, as the Vikings led the NFC North before losing to the New York Giants in the Wildcard. However, due to an unspecified minor injury, the former 2021 Fred Biletnikoff Award winner and consensus All-American has missed the majority of OTAs and mandatory minicamps but was present in the rookie minicamp. Addison is expected to be at the start of training camp this week.
