Michael Irvin's mugshot
In November 2005, NFL Hall of Famer Michael Irvin was cited for possession of drug paraphernalia.
Police found a crack pipe in Irvin’s car after pulling him over for speeding. Irvin said the crack pipe was one of his friends, and he had it to help the person overcome a drug addiction.
Irvin was charged with a misdemeanor possession of drug paraphernalia, which is a class C misdemeanor punishable by up to $500 in fines. He paid a fine for the charge.
Irvin attended the University of Miami, where he won a national championship in 1987. He entered the 1988 NFL Draft and was selected with the 11th overall pick by the Dallas Cowboys.
