2022 Season Preview: Colorado Rockies – Schedule, Tickets, Odds, Roster

They’re projected to win eight fewer games this season (66-96) than they did last year, and are only given a 1.5% chance to make the playoffs, but the Colorado Rockies are about to play ball.

They traded away third baseman Nolan Arenado but added Kris Bryant. Randal Grichuk, C.J. Cron, and Ryan McMahon will anchor the lineup, while German Marquez, 27, and Kyle Freeland will headline the rotation. In addition, veteran closer Alex Colome was added to the bullpen.

The team will open the 2022 campaign on April 8 at home against the Dodgers and close the first half with four against the Padres and three vs. the Pirates—all in Colorado.
